It is our goal at Hillside Montessori of LaGrange to provide families with an exceptional learning environment staffed with well-trained, highly-qualified teachers.

Tuition Rates

2024-2025

As a private educational institution, receiving no state or federal funding, we rely on tuition as our main source of income. A not-for-profit institution, we seek a balance between our educational mission and financial stability, and so each year we carefully consider our projected annual budget when determining tuition costs.

  • Toddler: $9,450
  • Primary: $9,195
  • Lower and Upper Elementary: $9,405
  • Adolescent: $9,719

There is a 10% discount for a second sibling and a 25% discount for third and additional siblings.

Tuition Assistance

We realize that private education is an investment, and we remain committed to helping families afford the cost of such a quality education here at Hillside. As noted in our mission statement, we strive to help each child reach their full potential in our unique learning environment. Helping families in need with the costs of Hillside is an important part of our mission.

In order to allocate financial assistance wisely and equitably, Hillside partners with FACTS, an online tuition assistance application service. Families seeking aid must apply online and send financial information directly to FACTS. In turn, FACTS provides us with a need-based tuition assistance analysis that includes a recommendation of the dollar amount families can reasonably be expected to contribute toward tuition. Results will be reviewed by the Hillside Tuition Assistance Committee, which then makes award recommendations to the Head of School based on the school’s annual tuition assistance budget. All financial aid information is kept strictly confidential.

To families qualifying for assistance, Hillside awards financial aid on a first-come, first-served basis each school year. We will consider applications after the deadline if funds are still available. Because our tuition assistance funds are contingent on a number of factors, they are limited. Awards are granted to families after the admissions process is completed and FACTS has received and verified all required information, including tax returns. The deadline for applying for tuition assistance is mid-March each year.
